After years in softwaring, managing and data mining experience, I found I have to focus on one area and expertise myself. SAP became my choice. Because I don't think any of previous will reward me very well--- none of project management, software development, and data mining or data analysis. However, I recalled SAP which I have been caring about from being graduated as a master of MIS in HIT. In 1999, I got an offer as QA in SAP Beijing, but I refused it because I really had no good idea in QA at that time. I am interested in developping something. Thereafter, I remained in Lenovo where provided me opportunities to touch SAP while my position is product manager.
Without any chance to become a professional SAP consult, I was invited to create a small business in BI service. Created a project proposal and portfolio, I was busy with negotiating with potential customers and fund provider and company's routine staff most of which is financing and taxing.
One years later, I quit to a telecom company in data mining for customer analysis.
Two years after that, I immigrated oversea with a university offer of MPM. In school, one friend and I completed a contract in strategy management for a health institute. we really provided value for our customer and were paid well.
After another contract from government, I realized that my perference is in consulting particularly in data analysis.
